Clearwater Marine Aquarium Takes Marine Conservation to New Heights With 'Lights by the Bay' Drone Show

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) will host its “Lights by the Bay” Drone Show, a family-friendly, pirate-themed event, on Saturday, Jan. 13, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This evening will include a drone show featuring over 150 drones doing aerial maneuvers and light displays. This pirate-themed entertainment is set against the backdrop of the CMA and Clearwater Bay.
According to a news release, the “Lights by the Bay” drone show is set to entertain attendees while also highlighting the aquarium’s mission to “rescue, rehab and release,” as well as feature CMA’s marine animals that are part of the aquarium's 50-year history.
Attendees will have access to the Ruth and J.O. Stone Dolphin Complex as well as live music and specialty food and drinks.
Attendees can also explore the aquarium’s diverse marine life habitats throughout the evening, including sea turtles, stingrays and other marine animals. According to a news release, the event will also include two real pirates and a "pewter pirate."

Lights by the Bay tickets are available in VIP and public admission categories.
Tickets for general admission are $55 for adults and $45 for children ages 3 to 12, while VIP tickets are $85 for adults and $65 for children ages 3 to 12.
CMA members receive a 10% discount on all ticket prices.
All tickets include admission to the aquarium from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., live entertainment, an interactive dolphin presentation, one drink ticket and the drone show.
Doors close at 8:30 p.m.
