Tampa Bay ‘Barbie’ Movie Launch Itinerary

Barbie Movie Tampa

By Tampa Bay Living Magazine staff

In July 2023, a series of themed events will transform Tampa Bay and St. Pete into a Barbie wonderland. This will lead up to the release of the highly anticipated "Barbie" movie on July 21.

On July 17th, the Holiday Inn Express in Spring Hill offers custom lip and skin treatments to help attendees channel their inner Barbie.

Experience the magic of Barbie with the Summer Series at The Grove 16 on Thursday, July 20, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and at New Port Richey Library on Friday, July 21, at 3 p.m. Dress up in your favorite Barbie-themed pajamas or costumes for an evening of movie-themed games and fun. Get ready for a night of nostalgia and entertainment at the Random Fandom: Barbie event. Tickets are $10 for The Grove 16 and free for the Library.

The grand finale of the Barbie-themed event comes on July 21, the day of the movie's release. Start the night off by painting the perfect Malibu Barbie canvas at Event Venue. Then, head to Skateworld of Tampa and join in the fun for Barbie Night with Tampa Roller Derby. Next, head to the Pink Festival at The Grove 16 for a movie watch party featuring free popcorn, singing and dancing. Finish the night off at Luna Lounge with a rooftop Barbie-inspired cocktail party. And don't forget to check out the Mermaid Barbie Art Show and Performance at Coastal Creative on Saturday night.
