Stormrunner's Tavern, a two-story restaurant and bar, will open next year in downtown Gulfport's corner at the intersection of Beach Boulevard South and Shore Boulevard South.

The new establishment will replace Caddy's, which closed abruptly in July. The concept features three separate bars: Stormrunner's Tavern on the ground floor, The Crow's Nest on the second-floor outdoor patio with Boca Ciega Bay views, and Bar Kitiki, a dog-friendly tiki bar in a thatched roof cabana and side yard.

The space has undergone a "revolving door" of occupants over the last 15 years, with Caddy's, Manatees on the Bay, Spinnakers, Beach Haus, Dive Bar and Grill, Roman Gardens and Aqua Bella being previous tenants. Stormrunner's Tavern is set to open in spring 2024.
